With Ash Wednesday, we enter into the Lenten season. During this week we don’t sing “ALLELUIA” AND “GLORIA”; we don’t place FLOWERS on the Altar and Sanctuary, so we request you not to bring flowers but you can bring plants one pair, Candles for the Altar or you can make your love offering for the poor and needy. May God bless all your good deeds
During the Lenten season, the Vicariate of Arabia follows certain regulations on FAST & ABSTINENCE, i.e. Fast & Abstinences are prescribed for Ash Wednesday and Good Friday, limited to the age between “21 to 60”. Abstinence is prescribed as general rule for every Wednesday in Lent, applicable to those 14 years.(Not to eat meat)
Every Friday there will be WAY OF THE CROSS in English from 4.45pm to 5.30pm. Please participate. God bless your WAY OF THE CROSS: English : Every Friday at 4.45pm Malayalam : Every Wednesday at 7.45pm. Konkani : Every Saturday before the Konkani Mass at 6.30pm Tamil : Every Friday after the Tamil Mass at 4.45pm Tagalog : Every Friday and Sunday before the Mass MY LENTEN SACRIFICE FOR THE POOR AND NEEDY: Envelops are available in the Church. Every family and individual could take one for the Lenten Sacrifice.
