Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

Easter is about transformation and replenishment; awakening and rebirth. On Easter Sunday we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We gather in reverential observance of Christ’s death and in joyous celebration of His resurrection. Through His suffering and dying, sin and death are conquered and no longer have a hold on us. Through His rising, Jesus’ divinity is revealed, while we are given new life, plainly a share in God’s own divine life.  The jubilant season of Easter is also a time of reflection and a time for us to celebrate the recognition of our own awakening. It is a time for each and every one of us to listen carefully for the Easter Message of faith, hope, love, service redemption and resurrection.
